I have been to many nursing homes visiting friends and family for years and have found Locust Grove in West Mifflin to be the best. Every time I’ve been there I see workers from the upper management to the maintenance and cleaning staff and everyone... is very kind and respectful. They all seem to be genuinely good, caring people. I have to attribute that to Mike the manager and his hiring practices. These kinds of staff people aren’t everywhere. You have to carefully choose who you hire. This process requires a great deal of effort and dedication to get it right. One more thought is when talking to the residents they say they would recommend Locust Grove to their friends and family and they are living it every day. Moved my dad in today. Everything went very smooth. My main contact was with Erin, Mike, and Bonnie who were all very knowledgeable and helpful. Found the place to be well run , clean and all the people I met during the tour and the move in were... polite and smiling. I want to thank Erin for making this sudden transition during a stressful time an unexpected pleasant experience. My Aunt who has always been otherwise healthy found herself in a time of daily need and we decided to transition her from a rehab... facility into Locust Grove while she continues to heal. Fortunately we met with Erin who lead us through this process with kindness while making sure that every one of our needs were met and concerns addressed immediately. I’d also like to thank Michael the administrator who has been an amazing support from day one. I would highly recommend this faculty to anyone who need’s support with their loved ones during this time of life. Also I’d like to add the food is absolutely delicious.
