Situated near St. Pete Beach, Wentworth Central Ave is a quaint, suburban senior living community located near John’s Pass, The Pier of St. Pete and the Salvador Dali Museum as well as local hospitals including Palm’s of Pasadena, Bayfront Hospital, St. Anthony’s Hospital and Tampa General Hospital. Wake up every day in a safe, intentionally designed living space. We tend to the cooking, housekeeping and home maintenance so you can participate in social, cultural and exercise programs including happy hours, walking club and jewelry making. A SAFER PLACE TO BE IN A STORM – Wentworth Central Avenue is located in Flood Zone E – offering a lower risk of flooding and evacuation. We also have backup generators, keep extra food and care supplies, and our staff is trained in disaster response.

After visiting several assisted living facilities, my husband and I moved his mom into Wentworth at end of May after her hospitalization and rehab. It was the most reasonable,beautiful and clean facility we had seen, and the residents looked truly happy and cared for. Mom made several friends with the staff and residents. The nursing staff was excellent, especially, Jean, and they always went out of their way to help her when needed. There were a few exceptions to this, Shay the director of nursing, who was rude and threatening the nurses and patient aids if they showed too much kindness and compassion by helping her "beyond the scope of assisted living facility rules". Mom passed away November 25th 2025 after moving her Orlando health bayfront hospice care. Thank you to the staff of Wentworth for making her stay comfortable and happy.
