As the holidays approach, we’re excited to gather around the table to celebrate Stephanie Curry, who has been warming hearts as the Director of Culinary Services at Symphony at Olmsted Falls in Ohio since 2016.
Stephanie’s love for cooking runs deep, rooted in a childhood spent in the kitchen with her family, making everything from scratch. Making a difference in the day-to-day lives of older adults means a lot to her. “Symphony at Olmsted Falls is the first memory support community I ever worked in, and I will more than likely retire from here. It’s my second home.”
When she’s not creating delicious meals for her “Grannies and Papas,” Stephanie enjoys gardening, exploring parks, crafting, and watching basketball.
“For me, it’s about more than serving great food. I love all my residents and strive to make every day special for them,” said Stephanie. “Each one of them captures a piece of my heart.” Thank you, Stephanie, for bringing flavor – and love – to every meal!

On Veterans Day, we’re honored to spotlight one of our own – Shawna Lowery, a Personal Care Assistant whose commitment to service extends far beyond her years with Symphony at Valley Farms in Kentucky.
Shawna’s career journey began at age 18, when she became a CNA. Since then, she’s brought her signature compassion and skill to a range of positions in senior care – but her spirit for service runs even deeper. Shawna is also an Army veteran, and that same dedication she showed her country now shines through in how she cares for residents every day.
“It's about truly loving what you do,” Shawna said, “and treating residents like they’re your own family.”
